JOB SUMMARY

Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

The individual will work in an office setting alongside a marketing team to create and execute marketing plans in regards to online store, attend meetings with both internal marketing teams, operational stakeholders and contracted vendors. The individual will assist in developing Sanford Health online store, assisting with Sanford Health brand standards, resolving customers questions, as well as inventory and new items online.

Mentor/Preceptor specific activities include 1-on-1 mentor sessions, internal marketing meetings, operational stakeholder meetings, vendor questions. Working on streamlining store items, keeping it a lined with Sanford Health Brand standards and marketing it to customers.

Collaborates with departmental associates and management.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Contribute to Sanford Health marketing programs while obtaining first-hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Learn how to develop customer loyalty through the effective development and efficient execution of evidence-based, innovative, and inspiring marketing strategies. This is a paid internship and students that are accepted will be expected to comply with all Sanford policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

1) Must be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in merchandising and or sales/marketing. 2) Must be able to commit to the hours scheduled during the 12-week internship. 3) Strong communication skills. 4) Attention to detail is a must. 5) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.

Must have successfully completed the Human Resources Internship program or be part of a research internship.
